Unretouched Photo Of Supermodel Cindy Crawford Goes Viral

NEW YORK (CBS) -- In the 1990s, Cindy Crawford became a household name for her flawless supermodel features.

Now, the mom of two is making waves for a photo not hiding the affects of aging.

A leaked photo of Crawford in lingerie that appears to have minimal retouching has been burning up the internet recently, and many are praising the 48-year-old for being, well, normal.

The photo in question was taken during a shoot for a December 2013 cover story from Marie Claire magazine's Mexico and Latin America editions.

"It's real, and as a photojournalist, I like reality," says Deanne Fitzmaurice a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer who says news photos can only really be shaded or cropped. "Within our industry, you can only do what you could have done in the darkroom. Now, there's fashion photography that's a whole different world and things are photoshopped on a regular basis," said the former San Francisco Chronicle staffer.
