Union City Man Accused Of Killing Car Salesman During Test-Drive Declared A Fugitive

UNION CITY (CBS/AP) -- A Union City man who killed a car salesman while test-driving a Corvette in Southern California in February was declared a fugitive Tuesday.

Prosecutors say 28-eight-year-old Alex Demetro of Union City was high on drugs when the car crashed into a tree last month in Ontario, east of Los Angeles.

The crash killed a CarMax employee who was in the car, 43-year-old Warren Smale of Montclair.
