Unidentified Substance At Antioch JCPenney Sends 2 To Hospital

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Hazmat crews are working to determine the source of an unknown substance released at a JCPenny store in Antioch that has sent at least two people to the hospital.

Contra Costa County fire officials said an unknown substance was released at the store and that there were 11 people treated, including two who have been transported to the hospital.

Fire officials are working to identify what exactly the substance is and determine how it came to be in the store.

Antioch police say there was a similar incident at the same store last week.
