UC Berkeley Woman Says She Was Kidnapped, Sexually Assaulted Off-Campus

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- An investigation is underway into a sexual assault reported to the University of California at Berkeley police Friday, police said.

A victim said that she was kidnapped at about 6 p.m. Thursday from the university's main campus and driven to a place where the assault occurred, according to police.

Officers found the victim after she was released Friday morning, police said.
