LAS VEGAS (CBS SF) -- Looks like Twitter is jumping onto the wireless headphone bandwagon.

The San Francisco-based company announced it is investing in Muzik, a company whose so-called 'smart' headphones are a lot like Apple's Beats, but a tad more social.

According to the tech news website Re/Code, a sharing feature is built into the Muzik headphones allow users, and users can control their listening experience by 'swiping' buttons on the outside of the device.

Twitter will demonstrating the features all week at their booth, Twitter City at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

The headphones go on sale in May and will retail at about $299.
