SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- People don't usually fly with raw meat in their checked baggage.

That's why Transportation Security Administration were suspicious when they discovered beef inside a suitcase at Mineta San Jose International Airport.

Officials said they found about three pounds of cocaine stuffed inside the raw meat.

The vacuum-sealed food was packed inside the luggage of 24-year-old Salvador Zamaya who was flying from San Jose to Seattle.

Upon discovery of the drugs, TSA agents alerted San Jose Police who confiscated the items and arrested the passenger, according to a statement from the agency.
