Tourist Robbed Of Passport, Camera At Twin Peaks Summit

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A tourist was robbed of his passport and camera as he was taking pictures Saturday night at Twin Peaks in San Francisco.

Around 10:30 p.m., a 20 year-old San Mateo man was with a friend at the Twin Peaks Summit at 501 Twin Peaks Blvd., according to police.

As he was taking pictures, another man pulled up in a dark-colored vehicle, jumped out and pushed the victim to the ground, police said.

The suspect then took the victim's camera and his bag, which contained the victim's passport. The suspect then fled in his vehicle, according to police.

The victim suffered a scratch to his cheek.

The suspect, who remains at large, was described a man between 20 and 30 years old, police said.
