Tour Construction Inside San Francisco's Central Subway Tunnel
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The tunneling taking place under San Francisco for the Central Subway project is set to be finished within the next 2 months.
KCBS's Anna Duckworth took a tour of the work site where two machines are working round the clock to build the 1.6 mile line from the Caltrain station to Chinatown.
The Central Subway tunnel will travel beneath downtown
San Francisco, bypassing congested streets to transport riders through some of the city's most bustling and heavily traveled areas.
