Part of San Mateo, Santa Cruz counties were briefly under tornado warning
There was a tornado warning in effect in part of San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning expired at 4:15 p.m.

When the NWS first issued the warning, it showed the area under the warning stretched to the coastline.
