Tommy Davidson Provides A Good Laugh On Set Of Black Renaissance

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - We had the opportunity to sit down with Tommy Davidson who was in town for upcoming stand-up comedy performances. You know him from Showtime's "Chocolate Sundae's", "The Proud Family", "In Living Color", "Black Dynamite" and more.

Tommy sat down with Frank Mallicoat, filling in for Christin Ayers, of 44 Cable 12's "Black Renaissance" to talk about his comedy and his career in television.

He did impersonations of President Obama, Sammy Davis Jr. (so did Frank), and Sylvester Stallone.

When asked about the success of "In Living Color" he said "we knew we'd do well, we never thought we'd get on the air."

Tommy D will be at Tommy T's in Pleasanton through the Thanksgiving weekend.
