Tom Brady's #TBT Facebook Post Pays Homage To Boyhood Hero Joe Montana

(CBS SF) -- San Mateo native Tom Brady could match his boyhood idol, Joe Montana, for career Super Bowl wins if his New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in Super Bowl XLIX.

Brady had Montana on the mind Thursday as he posted a photo to Facebook of himself as a boy, dressed up as the 49ers Hall of Fame quarterback in what appears to be Halloween parade at his elementary school.

The Serra High School graduate, who grew up rooting for Montana and the 49ers, told reporters at Tuesday's Super Bowl Media Day that he doesn't see himself as Montana's equal.

"It's flattering any time you're mentioned with great players and guys I idolized growing up," Brady said. "I don't ever see myself on that level."
