Toddler Rushed To Hospital After Trip To Dentist

SAN RAMON (KPIX 5) -- A toddler is in the hospital after paramedics found her unresponsive at her dentist's office.

The 3-year-old was rushed by ambulance to San Ramon Valley Medical Center a little after 10:30 Saturday morning.

"We received a medical call, my officers, of a 3-year-old female juvenile that was going through a dental procedure and had some complications," said Sgt. Nathan Jones of the San Ramon Police Department. "When we arrived here San Ramon Fire was already on scene performing CPR."

The little girl was a patient at Dentalbliss, a general practice dentist office Dearwood Road in San Ramon.

"I didn't talk to the mother but obviously anyone would be distraught in this situation," said Jones.

It is still not certain why the girl was at the dentist's office or her current condition.
