Tiny Magnitude 1.9 Earthquake Strikes Beneath San Leandro
SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) - After a busy week of minor shaking in the East Bay last week, Monday kicked off more of the same as a small tremor struck north east of San Leandro just before 8 a.m.
The Quake was centered for miles north east of the city center, about for miles south east of Moraga at a relatively shallow depth of 7 kilometers.
There were few reports of people feeling the shaking, but the rumbling does come less than a week after a series of measurable earthquakes hit the Concord area.
