Three Families Displaced In Vallejo Fire

VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- Three families were displaced Friday morning when a two-alarm fire burned a four-unit residential structure in Vallejo, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded at 5:01 a.m. to the fire at 718 Indiana St. The fire threatened nearby buildings, according to fire officials.

Firefighters said at 5:48 a.m. on Twitter that they had knocked down the fire.

Two adults and an infant escaped unharmed and the American Red Cross is assisting the displaced families with temporary housing, fire officials said.
