San Francisco Police Seek Suspect In Tenderloin Sword Attack

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police in San Francisco are investigating an attack on a man who was stabbed with a sword in the Tenderloin early Wednesday morning.

The 56-year-old victim was standing in front of his apartment building in the 400 block of Eddy Street around 2:40 a.m. when a male suspect walked up and stabbed him in the stomach with a sword, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital but was expected to survive his injuries.

No arrest had been made as of late Wednesday morning, police said.
