Teens Seek To Lower San Francisco's Voting Age To 16
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Politically savvy teens in San Francisco are seeking to lower the city's voting age to sixteen.
Two city supervisors are considering bringing a charter amendment to the full board if it gets the go ahead from the city attorney's office.
The group of teens says people sixteen and up should be able to cast ballots in municipal and school districts.
The idea also has the support of the Youth Commission.
