Suspicious Device Found Near Travis Air Force Base Deemed False Alarm

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Fairfield police said a suspicious device next to Travis Air Force Base officers were investigating Saturday night was a false alarm.

Police reported the suspicious item on Twitter at 9:04 p.m. The device was located in the 500 block of Parker Road.

Eastbound and westbound Airbase Parkway were temporarily closed from Parker Road to the base entrance.

Parker Road was also closed.

The 'all clear' was issued shortly after 10:30 p.m.
