Suspect In Fairfield Shooting Booked For South Carolina Murder

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A man arrested on suspicion of a shooting in Fairfield earlier this month was also booked Saturday on a homicide warrant for a killing in South Carolina in April, police said Saturday.

Terry McClure, 26, had been arrested Thursday in connection with a May 1 shooting on Willow Lane that critically injured two people, according to Fairfield police.

McClure was arrested while Fairfield police were collaborating with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department, which identified him as a suspect in an April 26 fatal shooting in Pelion, South Carolina.

The sheriff's department was able to obtain a homicide warrant for McClure and served it today while he remained in custody in Solano County Jail, police said.
