Surveillance Photo Released Of Dublin Gas Station Robbery

DUBLIN (CBS SF) -- Police have released photos of a man who robbed a Dublin gas station on Wednesday night, a police lieutenant said.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a Shell gas station at 5933 Dougherty Road at about 11:45 p.m., Lt. Herb Walters said.

The suspect entered the gas station with a black bag, baseball bat and red plastic gas can, he said.

He ordered the clerk to put all the money in the bag or he would burn the gas station down, Walters said.

The suspect fled the scene with an unknown amount of money, police said.

Police had previously reported that the car was a Nissan Altima but on Monday updated the description to a Ford Fusion.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call police Detective Sgt. Rafael Alvarez at (925) 833-6682.
