Golden Gate Bridge Vista Point Closed To Cars Ahead Of Super Bowl

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Visitors to the Bay Area for Super Bowl 50 should leave their cars behind if they want to stop and take in the views at the Golden Gate Bridge.

Fearing traffic madness from tourists, bridge officials said the Vista Point parking lot on the north end of the bridge will be closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting on Friday. Closures will take place each day through Super Bowl Sunday on February 7th.
