Steve Young Makes Emotional Plea For Missing Cousin's Return
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS-SF) – Former San Francisco 49ers star Steve Young has made an emotional plea for anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of his cousin Nicole Harris to please contact authorities.
According to the Gephardt Daily in Provo, Utah, Young's cousin has been missing since Oct. 24th.
The 41-year-old mother of four was last seen outside her Provo home by a neighbor, but hasn't been seen or heard from since that day. The family is further concerned because she left without her cell phone or purse.
So far, the search has come up empty so Young issued a statement on Wednesday asking for the public's help.
"My cousin, Nicole Coletti Harris (Nikki), has been missing for over a month," Young wrote to the paper. "It's as if she vanished."
"This time of year reminds us even more how precious our families are to us," the NFL Hall of Fame quarterback wrote. "Her children and family are very important to her, and her five children and grandchild need her back, as do we, her extended family."
Provo detectives said leads about Harris' whereabouts should be reported to the Provo Police at 801-852-6210.
