Stephen Curry Put Back In To Game 4 Too Soon After Nasty Spill In Houston?

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Was Warriors Guard Stephen Curry back on the court too soon after his nasty fall during game four of the Western Conference Finals?  A Bay Area doctor says no.

A team spokesman said the nba's most valuable player suffered no lingering effects from the nasty head first fall he took in game four against the houston rockets.
Curry said it felt like he was in the air a long time.

"it's a bad feeling. The situation changes while you're in the air. You've got no control over yourself," curry said.

Warriors fans took the blow hard pretty hard too.

"we were just devastated. I wanted to cry i'm all like just get up!" warriors fan daisy godoi said.
The team announced curry did not suffer a concussion, but rather a contusion - just a bruise.
Emergency room physician dr. David feldman of good samaritan hospital in san jose says it really is a relatively minor injury.

A contusion is like a bruise, so it's like falling and bruising your elbow, you see some exmosis, which we know as bruising. A concussion is when you have symptons of a head injury long term, if there is a loss of consciousness, confusion, balance issues, memory issues," feldman said.

After passing medical tests...Curry was cleared to get back in the game.
But still some fans say the team should have just sat him out.

"after the fall, i think he should have got more rest so he could come back good for the next game. But it didn't seem like it hurt him so, when he came back, it didn't seem like he was doing all that bad," warriors fan melissa hernandez said.
