Curry Predicts Panthers, Warriors Winning On Super Bowl Weekend

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is confident his Carolina Panthers will win Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, picking his team would win by a touchdown.

Speaking at an event announcing the naming rights deal for the Warriors proposed arena in San Francisco, Curry predicted the Panthers would defeat the Broncos by a score of 24-17.

Curry also went on to predict his Warriors would win their home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder the night before Super Bowl 50.

"It will be a great 48 hours, a win and a win," Curry said.

Curry, who grew up in Charlotte, hasn't been shy about his fandom for his hometown team and has been proudly wearing Panthers gear through the playoffs.

Super Bowl 50 airs February 7th on KPIX 5.
