Power Outage Interrupts 'Rogue One' Opening Night Screening In Cupertino
CUPERTINO (KCBS) – People trying to see the premiere showing of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in Cupertino Thursday night didn't get to see how it ended.
The sold out show at the AMC Cupertino Square 16 at Vallco Shopping Mall was stopped midway through because of a power outage.
Fans of the "Star Wars" movie franchise posted their frustrations on Twitter.
Went to see #RogueOne at @AMCTheatres Cupertino, power went out an hour in. Evacuated and sent home with disappointed &!angry nerd husband!

PG&E said the outage was caused by Thursday's stormy weather.
According to estimates from Disney obtained by The Associated Press, Rogue One grossed $29 million on opening night.
