Star Wars' C-3PO Guides You Through Traffic With Waze App

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – During the holiday season, the perfect "droid" to help you through the busy roadways is C-3PO from Star Wars. Afterall he does specialize in human-cyborg relations.

Known to incorporate celebrities, like Stephen Colbert as part of their traffic navigating app, Waze has added the voice talents of Anthony Daniels, the original voice of C-3PO to its selection of "talking guides." While "3PO" is fluent in "over six million forms of communication," one form is assisting you to get from point A to point B in the fastest possible route.

C-3PO's side mission is to also locate the whereabouts of his companions R2-D2 and BB-8, from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The app also includes additional social media options as well as Star Wars themed road icons like Stormtroopers, TIE fighters and lightsabers within the Waze map.

The C-3PO feature on Waze is now available for download on both Android and Apple's iOS. Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in theaters December 18th.
