Man Chased Down, Stabbed By Large Group Near San Francisco's Dolores Park

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was chased down and stabbed by a group of about 10 male suspects Sunday evening near San Francisco's Dolores Park, police said.

The 25-year-old victim was seen fleeing through the park toward 18th and Church streets from a group of 8 to 10 suspects around 6:15 p.m., according to police.

He fell down in the middle of the intersection and his pursuers began punching and kicking him. The victim suffered a life-threatening stab wound to his upper torso in the attack and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of Monday morning, police said.
