Special Olympian Reported Missing At LAX Hours After 2nd Missing Athlete Found In Hayward

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities confirmed that a Special Olympics athlete who was reported missing at the Delta ticketing counter at Los Angeles International Airport was found on Monday.

According to airport police, Shion Isimel had gone missing around 6:30 a.m. near Sepulveda Boulevard and 96th Street, according to police.

The French-speaking athlete competed in table tennis.

Meanwhile, police safely located another missing Special Olympics athlete in Hayward around 2 a.m. Monday morning.
