South SF Woman Wins $5 Million On Lottery Scratchers Ticket

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A South San Francisco woman won $5 million Wednesday on a Lottery ticket purchased at local grocery store, California Lottery officials said.

Jane Mattier-Kane bought the winning Ultimate Riches Scratchers ticket at the Pak N Save at 2255 Gellert Boulevard in South San Francisco.

The store owner will receive a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

All Scratchers tickets come with a second chance to win weekly cash prizes of up to $25,000 with additional promotional draws for certain games. Non-winning Scratchers tickets can be entered on the web site for the weekly pool drawing.
