Solo-Vehicle Crash Closes I-680 Connector Ramp In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- The northbound U.S. Highway 101 connector ramp to northbound Interstate Highway 680 in San Jose has opened after a solo-vehicle crash early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to reports of an overturned red Nissan Altima that crashed on the ramp around 3:50 a.m., the CHP said.

The CHP is actively looking for the Nissan's three occupants whom witnesses said exited the vehicle, hopped into another car and fled the scene.

A Sig-Alert issued shortly after 4 a.m. was canceled at 5:12 a.m.
