Snoop Dogg To Co-Host 'Dinner Party' Series With Martha Stewart

By Hayden Wright

(RADIO.COM) – During a 2014 Reddit AMA, Martha Stewart was asked "What's it like to be friends with Snoop Dogg?" The domestic superhero responded, "I wish I were closer friends with Snoop Dogg." Martha's wish is the television gods' command—VH1 has announced a new dinner party-themed series starring Stewart and Snoop.

Snoop and Martha go way back—he's appeared on her daytime chat and instructional show more times than any rapper should. They've made brownies and mashed potatoes together, and during the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, Stewart claims she "accidentally" got high with the rapper. They are two convicted felons who've pushed through adversity—they're entrepreneurial survivors with plenty of war stories between them. And they'll soon be hosting star-studded, televised dinner parties together…what a time to be alive!

"At our dinner party, we will exemplify America's fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity," Stewart told Variety. "'Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party' will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way."

"My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back," elaborated Snoop. "We're gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can't wait for you to see how we roll together!"

Snoop Dogg, along with Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates & Jhene Aiko headline the last leg of their "High Road" Summer Tour at the Concord Pavilion on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
