Small Earthquake Rattles Hills Above Milpitas Sunday Afternoon

MILPITAS (CBS SF) -- A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck near Milpitas Sunday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 4:45 p.m. and was centered on the Calaveras Fault at a depth of approximately three miles below the Calaveras Reservoir, six miles northeast of Milpitas.

No damage or injuries have been reported as of 5 p.m. Sunday
