Silicon Valley's Biggest Names Pull Out Rainbow Flags After Marriage Equality Ruling
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - This weekend's big Pride Parade may be in San Francisco, but that didn't stop Silicon Valley leaders from (digitally) waiving the rainbow flag in support of Friday's Supreme Court ruling ending bans on same-sex marriage.
Once a taboo subject for executives, there was broad support for marriage equality coming from some of the biggest names in the Tech industry Friday, with some even changing their social media logos to incorporate the rainbow flag. Here's a look at some of the social media posts that popped up Friday morning:
Apple's openly-gay CEO was among the first to voice his pride.
Today marks a victory for equality, perseverance and love.
