Silicon Valley Overtaken By Growth Of Apple? Computer Giant Keeps Adding Office Space

CUPERTINO (KCBS) - Apple's reach through Silicon Valley is growing.

The Cupertino-based company has reportedly signed a deal to lease two office buildings on Patrick Henry Drive in Santa Clara. Together, they're large enough to accommodate up to 1,600 workers.

The Bay Area News Group reports these buildings are on top of a 290,000 square foot office building in North San Jose Apple leased earlier this month, and three additional buildings in Santa Clara leased in recent months.

Meantime, construction continues on Apple's new 'spaceship' style headquarters in Cupertino.
