Sig Alert: Collision Involving Motorcycle On WB Highway 4 In Co Co County
CONTRA COSTA (BCN) — One lane of state Highway 4 east of the Bailey Road is blocked due to a collision in Contra Costa County Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle on westbound Highway 4 shortly before 6:30 a.m., the CHP said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 6:40 a.m. when two lanes were initially closed, according to the CHP.
One lane was reopened around 6:45 a.m. and there is no estimated time of when the remaining lane will reopen, according to the CHP.
