Shooting Outside San Jose Store Leaves 2 Injured

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – A man shot at a group outside a store in San Jose late Sunday night, leaving two people injured, a police spokesman said Monday.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2000 block of McKee Road shortly before 11:30 p.m., police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.

The suspect approached a small group of people outside a store and fired at them, Garcia said.

Two men in the group were struck by the gunfire and suffered injuries not considered life-threatening, Garcia said.

The suspect fled the scene and police have not identified him as of Monday morning, according to Garcia.

No other information about the shooting was immediately available.
