Suspect Arrested In Fatal Shooting In San Francisco SoMa
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A suspect has been arrested after a person was shot and killed in San Francisco's South of Market area Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded at around 3:22 p.m. to reports of a shooting and found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to their injuries.
Police located the suspect in a nearby parking structure.
The shooting shut down Mission Street between 2nd and 5th Streets and there were delays in the area.

Police have not released the identity of the suspect and arrest charges were still pending.
