Shooting In San Francisco's Western Addition Leaves 1 Man Dead, Another Critically Injured

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — San Francisco police are investigating a shooting the city's Western Addition neighborhood that left one man dead and another critically injured on Wednesday night.

It happened on Willow and Buchanan Streets at just before 9 p.m, police said.

Officers responding to reports of gunshots found one victim at the scene.

He had been shot several times, and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he is in critical condition.

A short time later, a second shooting victim arrived at San Francisco General but later died from his injuries.

Investigators said that no suspect information available at this time.
