Sex Bias Lawsuit Filed Against Facebook By Same Firm Representing Woman Suing Kleiner-Perkins

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- A sex-bias suit against Facebook has been filed by the same firm representing Ellen Pao, who is suing Kleiner Perkins for discrimination.

Plaintiff Chia Hong claims she was made to organize parties and serve drinks to male colleagues at Facebook, duties she says were not in her job description. Hong also claims discrimination because she is Taiwanese.

Facebook released a statement, saying "in this case we have substantive disagreements on the facts, and we believe the record shows the employee was treated fairly."

Hong is being represented by San Francisco firm Lawless & Lawless, one of two firms representing Ellen Pao.  Ellen Pao is suing Kleiner-Perkins for $16 million.

Jurors in the Kleiner-Perkins case begin deliberating soon.
