Seriously Wounded Gunshot Victim Found Near San Francisco General Hospital

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A seriously wounded gunshot victim was found near San Francisco General Hospital Thursday evening, according to police.

The victim, a male in his 20s, was found near the hospital at 23rd and Utah streets around 8:30 p.m., according to police.

Police received reports of shots fired on the 500 block of Ellsworth Street around the same time that the victim was located, but it is unclear if the incidents are related.

The victim is in life-threatening condition with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.
