Semi-Trailer Fire Forces Evacuation Of San Leandro Milk Production Facility

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A semi-trailer parked at a milk production facility in San Leandro caught fire Friday afternoon, filling the facility with smoke and forcing an evacuation, according to firefighters.

Crews responded to the one-alarm blaze in the 2000 block of Adams Avenue just after 2 p.m.

The fire was contained to the trailer, but the milk production facility had to be evacuated due to smoke. No injuries were reported, however.
