Search On For Porsche-Driving Camera Thief
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was attacked and robbed by a thief who fled in a Porsche SUV while he was taking photos on San Francisco's Treasure Island, according to police.
The robbery occurred around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday when the 68-year-old victim was taking pictures in the area of First Street and Avenue of the Palms, according to police.
A suspect in a dark blue Porsche Cayenne got out of the vehicle and approached the victim, punching him and knocking his camera to the ground. The suspect then picked up the victim's camera, tripod, lens and case and fled the area.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries
Authorities said the thief remains at large.
