Scotts Valley Jewelry Store Robbed

SCOTTS VALLEY (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking suspects connected to a robbery at a Scotts Valley jewelry store early Sunday  morning, according to police.

Around 4:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a security alarm going off at Scotts Valley Jewelers located at 266 Mt. Hermon Road, police said.

Upon arrival, officers noticed the suspects had broken the glass door to the business. After entering, the suspects then shattered several glass display cases in order to take multiple pieces of jewelry.

Officers were able to obtain images of suspects from the store's surveillance video. The video showed two male suspects inside the store. The suspects then fled in a gold colored SUV.

Investigators have not yet determined the total value of the items taken.
