Scary Costume Of Fugitive Drug Kingpin 'El Chapo' A Halloween Hit

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Online merchants in Mexico are cashing in on the notorious drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman this Halloween.

According to The Excelsior, a scary-looking costume of one of the world's most wanted fugitives has become one of this year's hottest sensations, and is selling between $18 and $35.

The costume features a heavily mustachioed mask with and a black and white striped prison uniform emblazoned with the name El Chapo, and his actual prison ID number, 3578-AJ.

El Chapo heads Mexico's powerful Sinaloa Cartel escaped a maximum security prison in July via an elaborate tunnel system.

Recently unsealed indictments revealed the cartel imported cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and other drugs into Mexico, and then smuggled them into San Diego.

The U.S. government has offered $5 million for information leading to El Chapo's capture.
