Scaffolding Falls, Traps Cars At Burlingame Dealership
BURLINGAME (CBS SF) - Several cars were trapped beneath fallen scaffolding Tuesday morning as heavy wind blew through the Bay Area.
The temporary structure had been put up for work on the siding of the Rector Audi in Burlingame. The cars trapped under the scaffolding were private vehicles and not new cars belonging to the dealership, according to a KCBS report.
No injuries were reported.
It wasn't immediately clear what brought down the scaffolding, but wind gusts were reported up to 35 miles per hour around the Bay Area Tuesday as unseasonably cool weather moves in ahead of expected rain Thursday.
