Sassy Redwood City High School Senior Nails Her Yearbook Quote

REDWOOD CITY (KBCW) -- A Redwood City high school senior used the traditional yearbook quote to help out her fellow female classmates, inadvertently turning her into an Internet superstar.

Soon to-be-graduating Summit High School student Rafika Alami, 17,  told Buzzfeed her intention was to be funny with this sassy quote:

"Only reason I wear this is to give you females a chance."

It suggests she's leveling the dating playing field for other girls by covering up part of her beauty with a hijab, a veil often worn by Muslim women.

Alami's confidence and humor earned her a flurry of congratulatory Twitter responses, many calling it the best senior quote ever.
