3 Arrested For Saratoga Burglary Of Home While Resident Was Napping

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- Three men were arrested for burglarizing a home in Saratoga on Thursday morning, deputies said.

At about 8:50 a.m., Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residential burglary reported in the 15000 Block of Kittridge Road.

Sheriff's deputies investigating the burglary determined that a man knocked on the door of the home and when he heard no answer, he and two other men went to the back of the home where the men forced entry through a sliding glass door.

Deputies said the resident was upstairs taking a nap while the burglary occurred and did not discover the break in until after the suspects had left the property.

However, video surveillance cameras on the property captured the images of all three suspects.

The suspects allegedly stole various items from the house and left in a silver-colored Chevy Trailblazer, according to deputies.

As sheriff's deputies were investigating the burglary, a resident in Los Altos Hills called 911 to report a suspicious person in the 13000 block of Robleda Road, in the town of Los Altos Hills, deputies said.

A responding deputy saw a silver-colored Chevy Trailblazer speeding away from the Los Altos Hills, according to the sheriff's office.

The driver of the suspect vehicle drove to the parking lot of Foothill College and then exited the vehicle, deputies said.

Deputies were able to take all three suspects into custody without incident and recovered the victim's property.

The suspects Antonio Harry, 23, of San Francisco, Jalil Jones, 20, of Richmond, and Dominiq Wright, 24, of Pittsburg were detained and arrested.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office had previously identified Harry and Jones as suspects in a previous burglary case in Los Altos Hills but had not been able to locate them.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective Welch at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office at (408) 868-6600 or the anonymous tip line at (408) 808-4431.
