Santa Rosa Mom Won't Face Charges In Alleged Bullying Incident

SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- A mother accused of choking a boy she thought was bullying her daughter won't face charges.

Prosecutors Thursday morning told the judge they just didn't have a strong enough case against Delia Garcia-Bratcher.

She was accused of grabbing a 12-year-old boy at a Santa Rosa elementary school during a lunch break.

But there have been conflicting reports about what happened.

Garcia-Bratcher is just relieved it's over.

"I was just really scared because i didn't know what was going to happen and I'm really glad this is over and done with and I'm done with this. I'm just happy."

Garcia-Bratcher says she has received numerous threats.
