SANTA ROSA – A fire at a Santa Rosa apartment complex on Monday displaced 27 people, fire officials said.

The two-alarm fire was reported about 11:20 a.m. at the three-story complex, located at 1146 Fourth Street.

Information about whether anyone was injured was not immediately available.

The residents were displaced from nine units on the second and third floors, due to "a combination of fire damage, water damage and compromised electrical service" in the attic above a unit where the fire started, fire officials said in a post on X.

Firefighters said the Red Cross is assisting residents with shelter.
