Santa Cruz City Council Votes To Acquire Armored Police Vehicle

SANTA CRUZ (CBS SF) -- The Santa Cruz City Council voted to accept a quarter million dollar grant for an armored police vehicle.

The council voted December 9th to accept the grant from the Department of Homeland Security to help pay for the vehicle.

Protests were planned Tuesday to voice opposition to the vehicle.
