Santa Clara Police and Fire Units Respond to 'Medical Incident' At Valley Fair Mall

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- Police and fire units responded to a "medical incident" Tuesday night at the Westfield Valley Fair mall in Santa Clara, according to authorities.

The Santa Clara Police Department Twitter account posted about the incident shortly after 7 p.m.

People were asked to "avoid the area while public safety personnel provide aide and conduct any corresponding investigation."

An all-clear was given at around 8:30 p.m., stating that all police and fire units had left the mall parking lot. No additional details on the incident were released.
